Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the QR to Sheets web application and related services ("Service") operated by QR to Sheets ("we", "our", or "us") at https://qrtosheets.com.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
QR to Sheets provides a browser-based QR code scanner that logs scan results to a connected Google Spreadsheet. The Service is intended for business use cases such as inventory management, event check-in, and field data collection.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
3. Account Registration
Access to the Service requires a Google account for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at hello@qrtosheets.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code or harmful content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's data.
- Conduct automated scanning at a volume that imposes unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
5. Google Services
The Service integrates with Google Sheets and Google Drive via the Google APIs. Your use of those services is governed by Google's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of Google's services.
6. Data and Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Subscription Plans and Payment
The Service is offered on a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis at the rates shown at checkout, processed securely via Paddle. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and handles payment processing, tax collection, and compliance on our behalf. Your payment details are handled by Paddle and are never stored on our servers.
Refunds. If you are unsatisfied within 7 days of your first payment on a new paid plan, contact us at hello@qrtosheets.com and we will issue a full refund. After that initial period, fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its source code, design, trademarks, and content, is the exclusive property of QR to Sheets. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
You retain all ownership of QR scan data and spreadsheet content you generate through the Service.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QR to Sheets shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
