- Delegating to other people
- A scanner link is a public URL, so anyone you send it to can scan without an account, an app or a licence. Links can be created, monitored and revoked remotely, which is how one administrator runs check-in at a venue in another country.
- Barcode formats
- QR codes plus Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E and ITF. Light-on-dark (inverted) codes are also read.
- Setup time
- Under five minutes: sign in with Google, pick a spreadsheet, create a scanner link, share the URL.
- Offline behaviour
- Scans are saved on the device first and sync when the connection returns. A CSV backup can be exported from the scanner screen at any time.
- Google permission
- The drive.file scope only, so the app can reach just the spreadsheets you explicitly pick. It cannot read the rest of your Drive.

Pricing questions
How much does QR to Sheets cost?+
The free plan covers 300 scans in total with 1 scanner link and 1 device, and needs no credit card. Premium is $7 per registered device per month for unlimited scans and unlimited scanner links. The Events add-on is $25 per month flat and requires an active Premium plan.
Do I pay per worker?+
No. You pay per registered device that scans, not per person. Any number of workers can share a scanner link, and workers never create accounts. If five phones scan, you need five device licences regardless of how many people use them.
Is the 300-scan free limit monthly?+
No, it is a lifetime total for the workspace. Once you have recorded 300 scans, scanning stops until you upgrade. This is deliberate: it is enough to run a real pilot and prove the workflow.
What happens if I need more devices for one busy week?+
Add device licences when you need them and reduce them afterwards. Adding is charged pro rata immediately; a reduction takes effect at your next billing period, so you keep what you already paid for.
Can I cancel at any time?+
Yes. Cancelling is one click in the billing page and you keep Premium access until the end of the period you already paid for. Your Google Sheet and all your scan data remain yours regardless.
What is the Events add-on?+
It emails every guest on a list their own QR invitation, then lets door staff scan guests in and writes check-ins back to your Sheet. It is $25 per month flat, not priced per attendee, and its invitations draw on the workspace's monthly email allowance, shared with Forms confirmation emails: 2,000 a month plus 500 per extra device.
Is the bulk QR code generator really free?+
Yes, and you do not need an account to use it. Paste up to 500 values and print them as a label sheet or download them as PNG files. There is no watermark, no expiry, and no usage cap. It is available on the Free and Premium plans, and to anyone who visits the page.
Can I print QR codes onto Avery label sheets?+
Yes. The print layouts match Avery L7160 and 5160 address labels and L7165 and 5163 shipping labels, plus compact grids suited to student ID cards. They also print correctly on plain paper if you are cutting them out by hand.
Do you offer a free trial of Premium?+
The free plan is the trial. It exercises the complete workflow rather than a limited demo, so you can validate the whole thing before paying anything.
